To keep ourselves sane from the pathetic excuse of a storm, Isaac, Gastrodamus and I combined our efforts to make our first batch of quinoa ever. For some reason we’ve always been intimidated despite our mastering of couscous, sushi rice (that’s a bitch to cook), risotto, and Israeli couscous. But no more! Our Moroccan carrots, zucchini, squash, and raisins quinoa was orgasmically good. And yea it was healthy too.
The skillet chicken was also perfect, crispy on the outside and tenderly moist inside.
