The boneless and skinless chicken breast from Blue Collar. I ordered a side of curried cauliflower (seriously good if you’re not intimidated by burping curry for the next two hours or on a date) and the kale (just downright amazing).
This meal had me eating my words after cursing this place for so many months after a first shitty experience.

Tuna with balsamic honey marinade, sauteed kale with caramelized shallots, and roasted fingerling potatoes with rosemary. Think sauteed onions would have been better in the balsamic reduction sauce over the fish, but there’s always next time :)
-Gastrodamus
Nothing like a quickie dinner: chicken, kale, mushrooms with a side of delicata squash. Now onward to more TV viewing.

I see Gastrodamus decided to go nice on Blue Collar. I will add a flare of drama to that previous post and note I witnessed him go into B-52s rock lobster territory with severe allergic reaction once he finished his meal there. Was it a result of the food? No, but let’s see if tabloid delivery renders us more notes ;) That said, we hope Blue Collar trims its menu and focuses on yummy-worthy items and cuts out all the extra tasteless fat.
Anywho, after Gastrodamus had a civil war with his gastroself in the ER, we managed to make good of a situation and had lunch at Crumbs on Parchment. I had the pesto portobello sandwich: grilled mushroom, kale, red onion and tomato. Now that’s Nomtastical!

I shall call this creation “Hippie Orgasm:” kale and ‘shrooms.
I tossed them with garlic, turkey sausage, soy sauce and chili paste in my wok.

Had a bunch of curly kale to get rid of so I decided the only natural recourse was spicy cayenne KALE CHIPS!

Even though hurricane Irene completely bypassed Miami, we’re still getting a crappy rainy Monday afternoon, so I decided to whip up some dinner using my recent Annie’s Organic veggy pick up. Panko/bacon crusted mahi-mahi, over sauteed garlic kale.

I couldn’t resist one more snap, close-up. The harissa and shallots definitely add an extra necessary dimension.

I experimented today in Midtown Kitchen with some mahi mahi fillet, kale and tomatoes. I must admit my Moroccan mahi came out quite scrumptious.
